FULLVIEW FOR BEST RESULTS...
This picture is updated, I took some new pictures & made a better collage...I still might play around with this...More detail is shown though... I will be doing an other update on this very soon, I've since added some extra details like a tail spade and some extra spikes & might even add scale texture...For all who don't know(I didn't really explain well) this is a dragon sculpted out of hot glue...The base was just wire(this particular one was paper clips) and layers upon layers of hot glue...I have a couple different guns because they put out different temperatures and have different sized nozzles, but my favorite one to work with is a cheep 2 dollar blue gun from Wal-Mart...When I was small, I loved hot glue...I would have it drip on me(when it wasn't that hot) and play around with it...I have a passion for using unconventional mediums to create art, and this is by far one of my favorites... Daily DeviationGiven 2009-08-07I had absolutely no idea it was possible to sculpt using glue :o but as you can see in Side Step Glue Dragon Collage by =dracoticcannibal it is possible. I can only begin to imagine how messy the whole process must have been, especially given the level of detail used. (Suggested by =Flynn-the-cat and Featured by ^Thebuild) Comments That looks awesome! How glue, right?
