So the deadline is finally upon us...If anyone is still interested in joining, the 5th before midnight is the cut off time....Everyone take some time to browse through the great entries we have so far, and please, spread the word...People still have time to complete and submit!...

This feature update has only one update right now, gave us an entry...So far the turnout for this contest is great, but there's still time for more!...Just remember, we all have until July 5th, so if you're a procrastinator, you have time!...Hehe...


Mind you, this contest doesn't rate your old artwork...We look at the new creation and judge the similarities in features and or colors, and how detailed it is...There is no completely right way to re-create something...Some people will re-create with the same pose and everything in the previous picture, and that's ok...Just as it's ok to take the dragon subject and put it in a different position and setting, just as long as you keep the same composure & intended features...




FEATURE CONTEST!

So, I have been wanting to do this for a while now, and I hope that every dragon artist on DA will enter...


Contest Rules:

1. Upload your earliest dragon art you can find...I don't care if you were 2-22 years old when your first picture was drawn, that's the fun...

2. Re-create the style the best you can!...This is to see how you have grown as an artist...If you had a super simplistic drawing, it's ok...Take it, re-create the style, and add your newly developed touch to it...Make it look great...

3. Post a journal with your "Before and After" submissions and a link to the contest...Your journal must be titled "I JOINED THE FEATURE CONTEST!"...

4. There is a maximum of 2 entries per person...



Judging:

Judging is based on 2 things...

1. Re-creation: How close the new subject resembles the old subject...
2. Eye Candy: How detailed the subject is...Let your child-hood dragon come to life!...

*3 months of featuring on my journal(5 pictures each feature)
*1 Digital piece of dragon art of your choice by ...
*1 GLUE DRAGON made by myself...(Shipping not included but not pricey)

2nd Place:
